Focus on Fluency leads students through five focuses:

Focus 1. Read Aloud

  • presents narrated pictures from a nonfiction book
  • suggests questions for students to keep in mind while reading

Focus 2. Practice Read Along

  • presents pronunciation of any word in text
  • offers spoken glossary for important words

The Students

  • read and time their fluency rate

The student folder is available on the computer for the teacher to review and communicate the student's progress to determine if additional instruction is needed.
